“Becom(in)g" lends itself to many meanings. On the one hand it is our debut album, (In)Body’s own becoming. It’s the album that created us, really. On the other hand, it portrays the experience of loss of innocence and “becoming” an adult. The songs deal with the many ways that young adulthood feels confusing. Relationships, career, modern technology -- these songs work through the topics one faces as they try to make sense of their relationship to the world.

lyrics
Mother, mother / There’s too many of you crying / Oh brother, brother / There’s far too many of you dying / You know we’ve got to find a way / The bring some loving, here today / Oh my father, father / We don’t need to escalate / Cause war is not the answer / And only love can conquer hate / You know we’ve got to find a way / To bring some loving here today / Picket lines and picket signs / Don’t punish me with brutality / Talk to me / So you can see what’s going on / What’s going on / And on and on / Oh my father, father / Everybody thinks we’re wrong / Oh but who are they to judge us / Just because our hair is long / You know we’ve got to find a way / To bring some understanding here today / Picket lines and picket signs / Don’t punish me with brutality / Talk to me / So you can see what’s going on / What’s going on / What’s going on here? / What’s going on here? / Picket lines and picket signs / Don’t punish me with brutality / Talk to me / So you can see what’s going on / What’s going on / Mother, mother / There’s too many of you crying
